White Coco Turns 15!

Today, 21 October, White Coco is officially 15! We couldn’t let the occasion pass without a little celebration. From humble beginnings selling clothes at fayres and house sales, to opening our very first boutique in Hungerford and growing into four thriving shops, what an incredible journey it’s been. A journey filled with colour, fabulous fashion and, above all, the wonderful people who have made it all so special. So today we’re raising a glass to the past fifteen years — and to everyone who has been part of them.

How it began

It all began in 2011, when Sally Boddington and Sarah Buckley formed White Coco with a simple idea brainstormed on a beach: shopping should feel personal, welcoming and fun. Fifteen years on, Sally continues to lead White Coco.

The team

Alongside Sally are Katy, Laura and Minnie. Katy has been with White Coco for 13 years and has been integral to the company’s growth, opening shops and pop ups and working with Sally on all things aesthetic. One year ago, Sally’s daughter-in-law Laura came on board, having swapped a career in government and life sciences for one in fashion. Laura brings a fresh perspective, helping to run the business with a focus on sustainable growth. Most recently, Minnie Bedford joined the team, having returned from Minka Dink to lead all things marketing and digital — you might also recognise Minnie from modelling our collections.

Together, the team are shaping the next chapter of this proudly independent, family-run business. And of course, none of it would be possible without our wonderful all-female teams across the four boutiques, who are the heart and soul of White Coco. More than just colleagues, they feel like family, bringing warmth, personality and a genuine love of what they do to every store, every day.

Fifteen pieces for fifteen years

Of course, a birthday calls for something special. We’ve launched 15 new pieces for 15 years, including the gorgeous Melissa Jacket and Tavie Skirt, both bringing that little White Coco twist to Autumn dressing. And not forgetting our Bess Top, which has been flying off the shelves — perfect for pairing with a simple pair of jeans and taking you seamlessly from day to evening.
